RoomFindX Terms and Conditions

Welcome to RoomFindX (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing or using our mobile application, website, and related services (the “Platform”), you (“you,” “user”) agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using RoomFindX. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using RoomFindX, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines we may publish. If you use RoomFindX on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

  • You must provide accurate, truthful, and complete registration details.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Use of the Platform

You agree to use RoomFindX only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings.

  • Use the Platform for harassment, spam, scams, or illegal activities.

  • Upload harmful, offensive, or copyrighted material without proper rights.

  • Interfere with the security or functionality of the Platform.

4. Property Listings

  • Landlords, agents, and property owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings.

  • RoomFindX does not guarantee the availability, condition, legality, or quality of listed properties.

  • We may moderate, edit, or remove listings that violate these Terms.

5. Wallet & Payments

  • Users may top-up their wallet to pay for services (ads, promotions, etc.).

  • Transactions are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., PayFast).

  • Wallet balances are non-transferable and non-refundable, except as required by law.

  • RoomFindX is not responsible for failed transactions caused by banks, gateways, or user error.

6. Advertisements

  • Users can create ad campaigns (e.g., property ads, display ads).

  • Ad spend is deducted from the user’s wallet.

  • We reserve the right to reject or remove ads that are misleading, illegal, or harmful.

  • Impressions, clicks, and spend are calculated using our internal systems and are final.

7. Messaging & Communication

  • The Platform provides chat features for users to communicate.

  • RoomFindX does not monitor conversations in real-time but may review messages for abuse, fraud, or violations.

  • Users are responsible for their interactions; we are not liable for disputes between users.

8. Verification

  • Users may be required to verify identity (ID, documents, selfie, etc.) before accessing certain features.

  • RoomFindX reserves the right to approve, deny, or revoke verification at its sole discretion.

9. Fees & Subscriptions

  • Some features may require payment (e.g., promotions, premium listings).

  • Fees are clearly disclosed before purchase.

  • We may change pricing, packages, or subscription terms with prior notice.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All trademarks, logos, and content on RoomFindX are owned by us or our partners.

  • Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote it on the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • RoomFindX is provided “as is” without warranties.

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, security, or error-free service.

  • We are not responsible for losses, damages, or disputes arising from property transactions, wallet use, or user interactions.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold RoomFindX, its team, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the Platform, your listings, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms,

  • Engage in illegal or fraudulent activities, or

  • Harm the integrity of the Platform.

You may also close your account at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict of laws. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be effective upon posting, and continued use of the Platform means you accept the new Terms.
